ABC NO RIO’S DARKROOM COLLECTIVE ANNOUNCES “RE-EMERGENCE,”  A GROUP PHOTOGRAPHY EXHIBITION.


New York, March 30, 2026. -- ABC No Rio’s Darkroom Collective is proud to announce the RE-EMERGENCE photography exhibition opening Friday, May 1st, at Sweet Lorraine Gallery in Redhook, Brooklyn.


RE-EMERGENCE is the process of coming back into sight or returning to prominence. With the new ABC No Rio building, including its darkroom, on the horizon, we have chosen RE-EMERGENCE as the theme for our first photography exhibition.


RE-EMERGENCE is a group exhibit of 24 artists, exploring interpretations of the theme using photographic and photo-based work.


Participating artists are: Alexandria Barcenas, Sara Bennett, Kitty Castagnet, CHEAPWORK, Gigi Cohen, Wendy Correa, Jade Doskow, Salvador Espinoza, Robert Goldkind, Jaiden Granger, Maylyn ‘Zero’ Iglesias, Jill Inbar, Victoria Law, Gavin Marcus, Reuben Radding, Joseph Rovegno, Susan Schiffman, Avery Severe, Patrícia Silva, Joseph Tekippe, Amy Westpfahl, and Maggie Wrigley.


The exhibition runs May 1 to May 29 at Sweet Lorraine Gallery, Ti Art Studios, 183 Lorraine Street, Brooklyn, NY.


Opening reception is Friday, May 1, 2026 from 6 to 9 p.m. 


Gallery hours Saturday and Sunday 1:00 to 6:00 p.m. 


Closing reception Friday May 29th, 2026 from 6 to 9 p.m.
